More Prizes Awarded In Jumbo Slot Championship

Las Vegas, NV – The top prize of $100,000 in the second round of the Station Casinos $2 Million Jumbo Slot Championship was awarded Sunday, July 30th, to a lucky Las Vegas local. The winner, along with the remaining top 25, also secured a spot in the final round and a chance to compete for the $500,000 top prize at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in December. A total of $250,000 in prizes was awarded to the top 100 players on Sunday at Texas Station.

"All I can say is thank you, Station Casinos," said Steven Folkerth, a Las Vegas resident and regular guest at Santa Fe Station who took home the $50,000 prize for second place. "Becoming a Boarding Pass member is free and there's no fee to compete for the largest slot tournament prize in Station Casinos' history," said Staci Columbo, vice president of marketing and advertising. "Those are two million great reasons to sign up."

"It's a great thing to have," added Henderson resident Debbie Brock, referring to her Boarding Pass card. Brock, who finished in third place for $15,000, enjoys all of the benefits that come with being a Boarding Pass member. "I'm using it this week to treat myself at the Green Valley Ranch salon."Last weekend's tournament was the second of three pre-qualifier rounds leading up to the final tournament in December. The next qualifier tournament is scheduled for October 27th through October 29th at Palace Station. Boarding Pass and Amigo Club members are eligible for all pre-qualifier events, with the top 25 winners at each receiving guaranteed spots at the final tournament.
