Tropicana Casino and Resort Wins Thirty Three Awards
The Tropicana Casino & Resort raked in a whopping thirty-three awards from 2006 awards lists in Philadelphia Style Magazine, Casino Player Magazine and The Press of Atlantic City. The Vegas-style casino in Atlantic City, the Tropicana, Home of the Quarter, won recognition for casino gaming, gourmet dining, non-stop entertainment, world-class shopping and spa services.

Our employees and our tenants provide a level of service and experience to match the superior quality of the products they offer to create an experience unique to the Tropicana and The Quarter,” said Tropicana President and General Manager, Pam Popielarski. Philadelphia Style Magazine rated the Quarter’s 32 Degrees Luxe Lounge as the ‘Best Dancing’ venue in their ‘Best of Shore 2006’ awards. The Tropicana also received nods from the magazine as first runner-up in the ‘Best Hotel & Casino’ category and as first runner-up in the ‘Best Spa’ category with bluemercury apothecary & spa.
Wine Spectator, the leading wine publication throughout the world, awarded Il Verdi with the Award of Excellence for the wine list. The Award of Excellence is give to less than 3,800 restaurants throughout the world, with Il Verdi being the only Atlantic City casino run restaurant to receive the award, and one of only five restaurants in Atlantic City to be recognized. The Award of Excellence is given to wine program that show attention to quality, produces a thematic match with the menu, and provides a clear concise presentation.
